the service was great and by no means a reflection of my rating. the food however was nothing to write home about. i ordered the pesto, and while it was good, for $28 i have to say i was disappointed. the pesto wasn't bad at all, but it wasn't worth almost thirty dollars. for the price, i was expecting to be impressed however it was okay at best. the portion wasn't too impressive either; had it been more food i might have been inclined to understand the price point. the mussels they were good and the drinks were good as well.

Hubby and I took a chance on a new place to celebrate my bday and boy did the Beach house deliver!! Start with an oceanfront table (sand underfoot), add in a bucket of the Rum Runner drink, a mojito and our amazing waiter Steve and we ended up with a great experience. Hubby said it was the "best grouper taco ever" and our visit "exceeded expectations"--high praise from him. We'll be back!

This place is beautiful. What a great location to have a last dinner before heading back from vacation. The outside deck is perfect for dinner. Very spacious and the service is outstanding, especially with being so busy. Brooke was such a great waitress and her personality made our evening. She's delightful. We ordered the pull apart Hawaiian bread and the Brussels sprouts. The bread was great bread and the macadamia nut butter was a very nice touch. But the sprouts had a great sauce. They had a nice caramelization, and the sauce was great. Did I say that already? I had the shrimp and grits, with andouille sausage. Again, a great sauce that was absorbed by the grits. Nice sausage, medium spice, and succulent plump shrimp. A perfect portion. Nothing was left. Give this place a try. It will be a nice memory.

We just love the his place. They are still recovering from hurricane damage so it looks a little different as they make repairs. There is valet parking which is very helpful. The service is good and friendly. The food is delicious and they have a nice drink menu. I love the salad options and the fresh fish personally. The view is oh-so wonderful.

The restaurant looks great and operating well post hurricane. We sat outside under the cover during the sunset. View is incredible. Had 3 kids with us - kids menu is solid. Got calamari and spinach artichoke dip as apps. Really solid dinner - from sandwiches to pesto pasta. Service was quick, easy, and got us in and out as we ate. Got key lime pie for dessert and that was great as well!

Updating as we brought our family here for a sunset dinner and the experience fell short of my last review. The location of course, is unbeatable. For the most part everything was as is. Where they fell short is in the new menu. Since my last review the tuna poke has changed to more of tuna on chips. Still good, but not great as it was before. Seems as though they needed to reduce the cost on this one. Calamari and coconut shrimp are still as is and super fresh. The lettuce in our farm salad was a bit silty and not as fresh as my other visits. Waiter was good but was not as attentive as Gavin and took a long time to get our check and check on our needs into the meal. No dessert was offered. Normally at least the key lime pie is mentioned. Maybe an off night.

What a great local oceanfront find that seems very popular with 11/2 hour wait. We were able to start out at the bar and moved to ocean front seating. The coconut shrimp and coconut martini was delish. We opted for clam chowder and lobster roll which was a nice size and lots of meat. The restaurant overlooks the ocean front and was quite serene at sunset. Indoor and outdoor seating is available and quite spacious with a gift shop in the heart town. Located on Anna Maria Island which was recently impacted by Hurricane Helene. Staff has managed to rebound and you can tell there was storm erosion and damage that is still in recovery mode along the coastline.

The island is still recovering from Helene... So from the outside the restaurant didn't look like much Once you walked in the front door that all changed and I was sorry that we said we wanted to sit outside. The inside was so beautiful. Once we got outside, it was also amazing! Our server was friendly, but not overly friendly. He was very quick and our food came out a lot faster than we thought it would for a party with no reservation of our size! Their drinks were also pretty amazing... All in all it was a great brunch well spent with family and friends. !!! Definitely will be returning when we come back to Sarasota and Ana Maria Island!!!

5 Stars for the same amazing location, but an updated menu that DELIVERS on quality. I've been enjoying Beach House for years, but other than the location and the fish dip, I was never there because I was super excited about the food. They've recently updated and streamlined the menu (with a new head chef, I believe), and now I can't stop thinking about the food! My faves (so far): - Coconut Shrimp: this may be my favorite iteration of coconut shrimp I've ever tried. The shrimp is plump and perfectly cooked and crunchy with fried breading and coconut. The sauce is delicious and I recommend dipping the fries in the sauce as well! - the coconut cake: this is sourced from a local bakery and remains a truly memorable cake. It was often on the previous menu, and remains a must-order. - the bruschetta trio: the mushrooms, the tomatoes, all of it sings. The least noteworthy is the chickpea and hummus, but that's because the others are so impressive. The drinks are also fab, as usual. This is the perfect spot to grab a table directly on the sand and enjoy a meal with the best view in town!
